Uptown Emporium

I am not a person who complains but this is something that really bothered me. I took a friend to show her Berlin MD. When we arrived at The Emporium the doors were locked. I saw that they closed at 5 and I asked my friend what time it was. It was only 4. We tried the door again and it was locked. Then the employee came out and told us that the store was closed. They will be opened tomorrow. When we pointed out that on the calendar on the door it's opened to 5. She looked at the calendar and said the owner forgot to update the calendar. She then proceeded to talk on her phone. She then sat in a chair outside the store talking on the phone and having something to drink. I was very disappointed since I had bought several items prior in this store and I was looking for an old clock.

This store is by far one of my favorite antique stores I have visited so far. This store offers so much, from seasonal items, to furniture, home decor, longaberger baskets, vintage finds and much more. The prices range from affordable to pricey, and there is a lot to see as the store is enormous. I can’t wait come back to this store to see what new treasures I can find! I’m in love with my new longaberger basket. I can’t recommend this place enough!

It’s a mix of new and vintage items. Had a great time found an amazing 1800 century French Iron cast bird cage. Katy was very sweet and very helpful.
