With so many chains and tourist traps here, I was looking for a family owned breakfast spot and found it here. I had a delicious Crab and Cheese Omelet with Old Bay Seasoning. She had an order of their French Toast. Hot coffee and a friendly staff rounded out a great breakfast experience. Give them a try.

Ann Marie served us this morning and we remembered her from our last visit two years ago. She's a sweet woman and cares about people and the quality of the food she serves and is one of the things that makes The Kitchen great.
Food here is really good. It's exactly what you would want and expect from an old time diner and I think it's probably the best breakfast in Ocean City.
Please don't change a thing!

My wife used to love this place but it’s not the same. When we walked in it smelled musty, but we didn’t judge from that. The waitress was great but the food was disgustingly bad. The pancakes tasting fresh out the box of mix, and weren’t cooked in the middle. Four of us ate and with tip it was $100 . You can get a better breakfast at McDonalds over this place. This was our go to for breakfast while in OCMD but won’t be returning . Save your money on this overpriced, gross food
