I feel the need to preface this message by stating that I have never, ever left a bad review for any establishment in my entire life. However, this experience has been weighing on me, and I want to make others aware of the way this business actually operates. Furthermore, I want this business to take accountability for how they treat their customers.

Last summer, I bought an Enewton bracelet here for over $50, and it broke as soon as I got back to my hotel and put it on. This is not normal for Enewton; the bracelets are typically known for being very high quality. I went back to the store immediately that same day to explain what had happened. I had my receipt with me, and I brought the broken bracelet in a bag so they could see exactly what happened. The manager confirmed the purchase was valid, yet they still chose to deny a standard exchange. They acknowledged the receipt was valid, meaning they willfully chose to violate standard consumer return rights anyway.

Instead of rectifying the issue right away, the manager/owner told me they couldn’t replace the broken bracelet until Enewton sent them a replacement first. They said this would take a few weeks and took my name, number, and address, explaining that once Enewton sent a replacement specifically for me, the store would mail me a new bracelet. This was already a massive red flag and completely out of line with normal customer service. It made no sense to delay resolving a problem involving a product they had just sold me.

Staff is not friendly at all and made me feel overly uncomfortable every time I stopped to look at something. The staff gave off that they think they are better than everyone shopping there. Would not recommend at all. This was the store in Ocean City.

Shop is cute but every time I go to the one in OC or Berlin the staff is not friendly at all. They barely say hello even if I’m the only one in the shop. I keep trying to give it another chance but hard to spend money in a place that makes me feel like they could care less. Reading other reviews this is definitely a pattern. And it’s not just the younger staff. This has happened with employees of all ages.
