Since 1986, Malibu’s Surf Shop has been providing customers, friends, and family
with all of your surfing needs. Originally located in Potomac, MD, Malibu’s
current boardwalk location in Ocean City offers everything that you would need
in the surfing world. Though small in size, we pride ourselves in our surfboard
selection, clothing, and accessories. All of our surfboards are hand shaped with
no overseas factory production, making each board a unique work of art as well
as a great addition to any quiver.
During the summer, Malibu’s offers private surfing lessons, stand-up paddleboard tours and surfboard rentals to people of all ages and
skill levels. If you are comfortable in the water and want to learn, we’ll take
care of you! We have been offering lessons since 1993 and continue to schedule
them in the mornings and afternoons all summer. In addition, we have started
offering stand-up paddleboard tours so check out our lessons page for all the
details!

Lee is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Not only is he a legendary surfer from O.C., but his surf shop offers unique boards, apparel and mementos unlike any other. His shop is right off the boardwalk at 8th St so no need to stress over parking. Authentic shopping for Ocean City’s beach scene.

We stop into Malibu’s every time we are in OC! Our favorite store on the board walk. It gives a deep sense of family, nostalgia, appreciation for surf and quality clothes. Couldn’t recommend more. The family that runs this store is the sweetest!

That place was so amazing. My friends and I got lessons and were able to progress so much. If you get lessons you should ask for Wade and Pat, they were so amazing with us and all around great guys. There clothes are amazing and are great quality. Also, when you go to there shop, make sure to look up at the many cool boards on the ceiling. Their shop has tons of history and all of the people are great. This was the best surfing experience I have ever had, thank you guys so much.
